m1 blade

Just got my M1 grip from hockeygiant. Stick looks nice, but the blade is flxy as hell (I can bend it back and forth like a abs blade). It looks like the bottom wasn't finished properly (the weave looks pretty distorted - i'd post a pic, but my camera's out of power). Basically it has no stiffness of any kind. I ordered a regular M1 for a buddy and his blade is normal, a bit softer than other graphite blades but way stiffer than mine. What should I do? Returning it to hockeymonkey would be a bigger hassle than I'd like to go through, and I'm not sure whether Mission will replace it as is. BTW I havn't used it at all yet.

sounds like you got a defect, id call mission or send Justin a Pm.

I don't know that it's a defect, or just you, bro. Mine's like that as well. Very depressing as the shaft has a nice flex to it, but the blade is so flexy that I can't use it (nice curve too - a pro curve with a MEAN toe).

If Justin is reading this, perhaps he can confirm whether or not this is, perhaps, just an early design that has since been fixed? (i.e., perhaps the blades weren't as stiff when they first came out and have since been "stiffened"?)

Thats why the L-2 with a solid composite tapered blade is the balls.

I would have have dismissed it as a design issue, but the other M1's blade is much stiffer, although still thicker and softer than inno blades.

Mission shaft seem really nice...but they are lacking on blade and blade-heavy OPS IMO....
