Does anyone have these skates? I am thinking of getting these and I was wondering what these are like and how do they compare to other skates on the market?

I guess it isn't really like a lot of the eastons other skates. It is a soft boot, which alows quicker break in time, and they should be more comfy.

yea my brother has em, and they are nice. Not noticably heavier than others, and initially more comfortable. He has had them for about a little more than a half of a year, and the only bad things is that the boot gets hard and crusty on the inside.

I had a pair of Z-Airs, and a brand new pair of Vapor10s that I sold for $100 when I got the 2004 model Air SBX skates! I have no clue what you guys are talking about! These skates are better than both of those other skates in every way! They are also lighter than the Vapor10s!

Oh yeah, the RazorBladz II is better than that crap TUUk!

I guess its all personal Preference, but I have used a lot of skates, and these are by far the best skates I have put on my feet!

While much of skates is personal preference, I can't imagine how you could say that Razor Blades are better than Tuuks.

Yeah man, the Razor Blades really suck. I have the holder just from jumping over the boards onto the ice before, it just snaped in half, sorta like their sticks  . They are crap.

Sorry, not an Easton jock! The only Easton gear I use are the skates because of the RazorBladz. I just feel in more control on the Razors! I used my Z-Airs for 6 years and never broke the Razors! I'm not a small guy 6'4" 220lbs.

The only reason that I even got a pair of the Vapor10s is because I heard how great they were. LOL, they suck!

the original razor blades sucked!, i broke the blade on each skate twice, but then i got new ultra lites with the razor bladz 2, and they seem to be holding up well, i dont really care much for the holder, as long as i can skate it them....

I have been skating on our Razor Bladz II for over a year now, having previously worn Bauer my whole life (Black Panthers --> 3000s ---> 5000s--->Vapor 10s). I have had no breakage issues and have come to much prefer the feel of the Razor Bladz over the Tuuk. Initially, they felt quite different and I wasn't quite sure how to explain it other then I was feeling the ice much better. There was a sensitivity and responsiveness to them that I didn't have with the Tuuks. In regard to another conversation, many of the pro players are sticking with the Razor Bladz now...I don't have exact numbers, but have seen it increasingly lately.

Ryan - are there any changes on the '04 holder, or is the "scalloped" blade the only thing that has changed? Glad to see that you guys finally got serviceable bolts...it was a bitch and a half to take them off when it only had the single allen bolt...

Nope, I believe the holder remains the same. The LPS runners are the only change made to the holder/runner assembly
