Speaking of that game, how about Phaneuf (sp?) BLOWING UP Laaksonen. That was one heavy hit- I'll see if I can find a video. Svatos 3g 1a's, I also liked how Liles played-2a's.

Wolski and Svatos were great last night. I was so happy for Svatos because he is one of my favorite players on the Avs. Didn't Laaksonen get killed twice last night. Anyway, I'm glad to see them playing well. Now only if Sakic and Tanger can start lighting it up...

At the Oiler's home opener I was watching Wolski in the Avs warm up, he has unbelievable puck skills. Svatos was scratched that game so I don't know about him, but Wolski's hands were just golden. Laaksonen was impressive, too.

Svatos should be compared to Mike Bossy and Wolski should be compared to LaFontaine. Sound good?
