Played on a team with pink jerseys, didn't lose a game for two seasons. I'm sure guys had tough times after the game trying to explain to their girlfriends how they lost to the dudes in the "gay" jerseys.just like dudes with reflective visors, white gloves, whatever. if you can back it up, why not? Because if you're good enough, you don't need garbage like pink sticks to make you stand out. If you like a mirrored or tinted visor because the shading is more comfortable for your eyes, then wear it.If you're wearing pink and you're "good enough" to wear it, go play in the NHL you hero. Jim A 4 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 pink is in, mission capitalized on it...its not like color hasn't been a part of hockey before...whether it was the all white Washington Capitals pants, different hued OPS (seriously..how many of you 3 years ago ever thought they'd be weilding a flourescent Yellow or Orange stick??) white skates c/o NBH, et.al...if you like the Z-1 styled stick..cool..if it works for you great..if you buy it because its pink when you wouldn't use a Z-1 otherwise...ya got problems Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I have some Pink sticks coming in 2-weeks, not Missions, but they will sell solely because they are pink. Sad. Very Sad.On a funnier note, on one of my pick-up skates, we have a special shirt that is awarded weekly to the voted winner of the non-coveted POW award. POW = ...of the week". You can do anything from being late to whining, to hogging the puck to win the award. The winner HAS to wear the POW shirt the next week. Adorned on this shirt are many things.
