DangleDangleChamp 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 I got a concussion early this year which has left me with post concussion syndrome. I am very sensitive to the bright lights of the hockey arena. I noticed that Oakley offered their visors in blue, yellow, gray, and standard clear. Which one of these colors will help reduce the glare off the ice and the bright lights in general? If anyone has used any of these colored visors do they work? Thanks for all the help! Chadd 916 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Go gray or blue to reduce glare but you probably shouldn't be skating if you're still having symptoms.

QandA 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 It's illegal up here in Canada too. It's just not sanctioned, Oakley has one visor that's certified for the record. It's clear or you wear a cage. It's just that way.
Patrick67 1 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 In case of a concussion (kind ironic in this case, sorry) you have to be able to see the persons eyes. Same rule apply's for football where Oakley makes colored visors aswell.
twiztidwrista10 3 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 If you were ever to play again, one of my friends got the itech II full shield and used some car window tinter to tint the shield , it looked pretty cool. He plays for the mid america energy major. Maybe you played him.
