Madano Clone Blades

Recommended Posts

I think that most of the people on this forum will find 1 thread that has all the different companies that produce Madano clone blades very helpful. Since Madano is probably the most popular blade pattern many hockey companies have made thier own pattern which is a pretty much exact copy of the Madano with a different name. So I think people would find it helpful we all posted different companies that have Madano clones along with the pattern name/number. So post away.

Its been mentioned many times. Search around all you'll find all your answers.

I think maybe if he knew how to spell Modano it would be easier to search.

when i was buying a helmet last night i was looking at blades when the guy went to grab it in the stock room. i saw a forsberg wood synthesis and i kid you not the blade was about as close to straight as you can get. not even a hint of loft at all either, is this because it was wood and the inconsistencies of it?

Most likely, yes.

for sher-wood im pretty sure that the PM Bouchard is the closest

That sounds right to me.

Bauer Lindros is probably closer to a Modano than the Hossa.

The Bauer Lindros is a mid. The PM9 or Hossa is almost identical to the Modano.

It is identical. It seems Sherwood gotten on board and has adjusted their patterns to be in line with everyone else. The endorser's name is the same, but they put an "Easton" designator on them. In this case the Bouchard has a "MO" next to it.

Lindros has never been a mid. It has always been a mid-heel, with no loft.

Its weird that they have it as a "mid" on the new Bauer web site.

Unless I am unware of changes that have been made to that curve.

Erics pro curve is closer than the retail Lindros curve.
