i never tried any of the underarmour socks, but i use the ccm oxysox and love them! mind you, i don't think i'd pay the 20$ or so for another pair (i kinda took my friends because he didn't like them), and they've lasted me well over a year.

I've been using our CoolFeel socks for about ten months and absolutely love them. I don't know why I had them sitting around for six months and never had tried them.

I have a pair of the all-sport and a pair of the heat gear football ones. The heat gear pair has an extra area on the bottom of the foot for cushioning, and those are the ones I use to play in. The other pair I use for public skates. Both pair are slightly thinner than regular athletic socks. They seem to absorb the sweat very well while playing, when I am done the socks are quite wet and my legs are dry.

I now use the Salming socks and love them - they're very comfortable and wick moisture well, but aren't compression socks. I tried Oxysocks compression socks, but didn't like them as while they did wick the moisture away I felt like I lost some of the feeling in my feet when wearing them.

The Oxysocks were a bit thinner, but while the Salming socks aren't super thin they aren't really thick either - they're about the same thickness as most thinner cotton sports socks.

I use the Wigwam footliners. Ultrathin and wicking. Almost as thin as pantyhose material. They come in short and calf sizes, and I've used both (probably prefer the short).

Get the Under Armour soccer sock---it is by far the thinnest of all the UA socks. It's almost like a liner sock it's so thin.

SalmingUSA,

Can you tell me where I can order a pair of your sox? I don't even see them listed on the US Salmingsports.com site.

Thanks,

Jeff in Houston, TX

I have a couple of pair of the UA soccer socks. The store I went to didn't have anything else. The main problem I have with them is they are a little thin for my liking and they are tall, which if you like socks to go to your knee then you would be fine with these. Right now I am using regular reebok athletic socks that I can get at the store for $5.99 a three pack, and they are perfect for me.

Jeff, no shops are carrying the socks yet. (Even though every one has said they love them...go figure!)

You can PM me.

I use the Underarmour hockey socks. They're thin with a padded footbed, and a compression sock without being too tight around your calf.
