Kovy_Ribs_Fedo 3 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 When you go to QMJHL like he finally did, you can't play hockey in college, that's why he had a decision to make. You either go Junior AAA or prep school(in the USA) and after college if you are good enough. BTW, where are you from? it seems like you don't know of what you are talking since you are not from QC, am I right? no offense at all.and about the 1 million story, it's just and inside I got from someone I can't name. McCabe#1 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 Just so you know, A.O. is not eligble for the World Juniors; he is too old. Crosby is still elgible, but he is almost 2 years younger the Ovechkin.
cobrAA 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 That kid is unbelievable..Used to play summer hokcye against him. No joke he had 9 goals all 3 times we played. He could score at will. He would just take the puck behind his net and giv'er. Interesting little fact about him, he has a 96% average and was actually going to quit hockey so he could focus on becoming a neuro surgeon, guess he made the right choice! what league you played? Miike 1 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 The World Juniors opens on Boxing Day (26th)Are you sure Ovechkin isnt eligible McCabe? Even if he was eligbible do you think the Caps would let him go? I highly doubt it as they would have no team then.
Dougie8 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Yeah I knowAllthough I am not sure if the caps would really care? If they are near the bottom of the league, why not let they're all -star player go to a tournament where he can stand out and show the rest of the world how lucky the Caps are to have him...They got nothing to loseDid A.O. get drafted first overall in 2003-2004 or 2002-2003

Kovy_Ribs_Fedo 3 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 McCabe, you might be right, but I thought if you were born before sept 30th or oct 30th in 1985, you could play in the Word cup. Anyway, you seem to know what you are talking about on that one so I'll trust you.
