scubafrogman 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 I wonder why HockeyGiant is so high? And they only have one size. I have noticed that HockeyGiant has had higher prices on some other items as well lately. They use to have a lot better deals. ???
Jim A 4 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 Well someone will pay a premium to get them, I'd think they will go down in a day or so to 500..most people would go to HG first before hitting the IW site or some others typically...
Aussie Joe 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 I suppose the better question is are they worth it? I dunno but, I've had BAD BAD experiences with Micro bearings in the past and tend to shy away from them. Also what are the frames and wheels like on these particular models? Wasn't there a reason why CCM stopped selling the pumps on skates in the 1st place?Sorry to be full of questions, just been looking at this skate this morning and its got my brain working thats all... All Torhs Team 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Ive decided to go witht he rbk 6k skate , its $250 usd, No one around here has the RBK skates yet, theyre all to into mission. DaveTheWave 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 A quick way to tell if a RH skate has quality construction is the sole. If it's carbon and ergonomic, then chances are it might be a purchase worthy skate. These however, look as though most of the money went into the pump system or not at all. Patrick67 1 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 If you get the 8k Pump's the outsole is composite and the durabillity/quality is exellent. So no worry's
DaveTheWave 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 Well, its a basic composite sole. What I meant was like the difference between a Vapor XX or Proto VSI Team sole and a HE950 sole (which is similar to the RBK skates out now).
