Which blade has the best feel?

Recommended Posts

I have tried the z-carbon and it was allright but it sucks cause it breaks so easily. I heard inno's blade have really good feel but i dont feel like cashing 50 bucks for a blade i know nothing about. If anyone has used this blade can u tell me how the feel is. This would greatly be appreciated.

Easily the best retail composite blade around. Great durability and feel and the only blade I'd put over it are the GI Z-Carbs.

well you can get an inno SMU for 29.99 and they have nice feel, but hey break easily. imo si-cores and blades have the worst feel, isnt it supossed to help u catch passes.....all you get is a horrible soggy feeling.

GI Z-Carb = Game Issued Z-Carb. It's a pro return w/o the focus flex and a lot better durability. EastWest had/has some on eBay.

basically what mack said. the retail innos are the best that you can get in stores. the pro z-carbs have the same, if not better feel. i've been partial to the inno feel myself, but over the last several months i've been using nothing but pro return z-carbs. its just a matter of finding them in a pattern you like that you can get your hands on. both inno and the pro z-carbs offer very good durability. i've never had a problem with smu inno's either. the last two i had lasted me practically two years each.

The Innos are stiff yet have great feel as well, my personal favorite composite blade. The Easton GIs are pretty nice as well.

I've had the Sherwood Axion blade for about 6 months now and it still feels quite good. I bought a Easton Z-Carbon to replace the Axion and it broke after about 10 practices. Afterwards I got the Louisville X1 and that lasted about 4 practices. So I'm back to the Sherwood Axion. Great durability wise.

Looking to try the Innovative Carbon Pro blade. Anyone know what curve is similar to the Modano?

DO these inno blades have a better feel then wood blades?

No but they retain their stiffness a lot longer.

yea that could be a good idea but in montreal it pretty hard to find out inno product....and curve doesn't look pretty nice 4 me(i played with the modano recchi and the franklin guerin) but my choice would be the a mix of modano recchi curve! :P

I love my TPS X1, hands down the best blade I've ever used. My SMU Inno broke too quickly for me to give a good review, plus I wasn't crazy about the curve.

Yea those Inno blades are great. I have a Si-Core Z-Carbon and it sucks, I hate the feel. It just feels so "dead" which defeats the purpose of what it's suppossed to do, right? The regular Z-Carbons are good but like people said, not very durable. The GI Z-Carbons are tanks and theres quite a few on ebay right now.

EDIT: oh and I forgot to mention that I didn't like the feel of my R-2 blade either, it was cheap and thin and I felt like I was going to break it.

game issued. its a blade made for pros. as described before its basically a stronger built z-carb without the stupid and pointless focus flex.
