No, Forsberg has been wearing XX's the whole season (except for the preseason when he was experimenting with XXX's).

If you mean pics of Souray wearing Rebellion gloves, I haven't found any just yet, but I'll post them here if I find any.

I had heard he switched from the XX (although I didn't believe it). I was talkin about a picture of Foppa, not Sourray. I can see him fairly easily on the highlights (luckily Sportsnet shows them), but since Forsberg is injured I cannot check his skates on the highlights.

Has anyone ever seen any NHL players using Rebellion gear?

I recall seeing one ref in the skates, nothing else.

They are very well recieved in the store, but I've never seen the all white Rebellion you pictured. It's always been a combination of colours.

The blades are very thin. I was able to bend the blade of the OPS several inches. I prefer a stiffer blade so that turned me off.

So do you think it's worth trying this out first, or going right for the Innovative Fedorov shaft I had set my eyes on? :)

I personally don't like them, but by the same token I've never tried one on the "ice". I've shot around in the store a bit and they just weren't my taste. I don't like thin blades, but didn't have the bending issue Chadd did. I think the Federov shaft is overall better for the price to be honest, but you have to factor in a blade and whether or not your looking for an OPS or shaft/blade combo.

No, he never switched from the XX. I'm a season ticket holder at their home games and have seen all games and I haven't seen him using anything but the XX (unless he experimented with something at a road game or so but I hardly doubt that). He was wearing XX in his last game as well when he got injured.

As for Rebellion stuff, I've never seen it up close, the LHS don't carry that brand, but it sounds as people like them and they also look pretty good.

Has anyone here ever tried any products from Rebellion? I haven't, actually I haven't even seen any up close, but they do look okay judging by their website, especially the gloves and maybe their sticks (I THINK they make OPS too but I can't find them on the site, but I have seen players using an OPS like stick of theirs). The skates look weird though with that 3D blade. Opinions?

As mentioned on a few other threads, the latest Hockey News has a equipment review section. They have a write up on Rebelion products in it.

My teammate has the new rebellion OPS, and it is pretty nice. It has a new type of grip on it that I really like; it's kind of a mix between the TPS and the Easton grip on the outside of it(thickness of TPS, tack of Easton). When it comes to the blades, I understand that they are pretty much Easton clones- The 91 is like a Lidstrom, and the 21 is like a Sackic.

They say they are clones, but IMO they are a fair bit off. We group them like they are clones in the store, but theres more differences between there curves than most other companies. I noticed that they are very heavy and I believe LHS (I know we do) sell regard their OPS and their wooden core OPS on the same level.

Speaking of Rebellion, wasn't there some guy on the old CB board that was involved with them somehow? I'm not sure but he was working for them or had some family member who did, or something like that?
