ouch my back

so i was doing squats with the smith bar at school today, and, since the weights i was doing was well within my range, i got overconfident and relaxed before the bar got racked up. anywho, the bar came down and bent my spine the "wrong way" (like i'm bending backwards, not forwards) and lower back has gotten progressively more sore since hte day went on. it started really feeling sore around 7 or so (now it's 10 in my time zone) even though i lifted at around 11. if anyone has had this happen to them, any advice on what i should do? it doesn't seem bad but should i got to the doctors to make sure anyways? it's not really limiting my range of motion, it's that my lower back is sore when i lean backwards, and it's a little sore when i stand.

your first mistake was using the smith. use freeweights and go light to get proper form then move up.

That's it big boy, I was reading a text today on squat and that's exactly what the text was saying.
