Grafs?

Recommended Posts

You'll sit more back on your heels with Lightspeeds unless you get the blades contoured to a forward or plus 1 contour. My advice is to get the Mission Pitch 3 holder and you can adjust it to the contour you perfer. Mission has some of the hardest steel blades on the market and the blades will last you longer and hold an edge longer hence less sharpening.

The lightspeed holders probably won't make your skates feel any lighter when you are skating in them. If you like the forward pitch of your Cobras, the negative pitch of the lightspeeds will feel awkward. If you do insist on getting new holders get the mission pitch holders.

Which pitch is most reminiscent of the (inline)Hi-Lo setup. A typical graf or LS's ? And then again, hilo's come in different picthes aswell, someone once mentioned the Pitch on the Redstar alloy chassis was more neutruel than Mission's?

If you have been wearing the graf corbas and you want the liightspeeds!!! Will it have a big or any difference???

Thanks

The holders are the same height, if I'm not mistaken. The Cobra's are much stiffer than the Lightspeeds, something you may or may not notice. The pitch will probably be the biggest difference as the other guys have mentioned. You can probably insert heel lifts with the Lightspeeds to acheive the same forward pitch with the Cobra's rather than profiling your steel.

I have Tuuk C+ on 705s with 3mm inserts at the front and heel portion of the holders (thereby making my C+ the same height as Lightspeeds) to compensate for my slipping out on turns because of my wide feet. Maybe that could be an option?
