UMWhockey 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 So now that the 12 play-off teams are locked in, who do you guys think it going to go all the way?on the NFC side, I think the redskins are going to make it. They have beat Seattle, beat Chicago, split with the Giants, and should have beat the bucks since Allstot didn't really get in on the two point conversion. Portos is going into the play-off with 5 straight 100 yard rushing games and the D is looking solid for the skins as well. All they need is for some of their secondary to get healthy and they should be in good shape. In the AFC, I see this being the colts year. I know they have kinda walked through the last couple games, but now that dungy is back and they finaly have home field in the play-offs I see this being their year. After all is said and done, i see the Colts beating the Skins 28-24.that's what i think, how about you guys? hocckey77 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 redskins? no...we (chicago) would have easily beat them with grossman.chicago should make it, barring any major mistakes.seattle's really not that good. look at their schedule. they played arizona, san fran and st. louis 2x's and tennessee and a few other really weak teams.i say chicago vs. someone in the super bowl ( i dont care about the afc yet)

sherwood21 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 I say the Broncos take it all the way, and I see the Giants beating the Seahawks. I really like the Skins but I don't know if they have the Secondary to take down a team like the Giants, or like the Broncos now that Springs is gone . AFC I say the Colts, they just are going to roll whoever they play. With the added motivation from the tragedy I can't see anyone beating them until the superbowl. Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 I'm assuming the Pats will beat the Jaguars and would then play the Colts the next week. Even though it's in Indy, that's probably the best time for the Pats to play the Colts. It should be seven points in either direction, and the winner of that game will go to the SB. J-Shera 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 I say seattle is going all the way, because there my team :P . I know its kind of cheasy picking the two top teams but seatle and the colts will be there at the end. I dont think my team can beat the colts though. thenizzle 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 oh come on!!!!!!!!!! to quote steven A smith: and last I checked they still have tom brady. Quite frankly, that's all you neeed....... 3 SBs in 4 years????? Patssss will dominate everyone. This is the first you are hearing it. the New England Patriots will win the 2006 SuperBowl running over all and solidifying its place in football history as a dynasty. i think they will play the broncos. mik3 1 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 Colts win the AFC without question. If a team other than the Bears wins the nfc than it's a blowout, if the Bears win the Colts win the super bowl in a close one.

But, I'm going to be realistic about this. The Pats have never faced an Indy defense like the one the Colts have this year. Indy defense + (Manning + Edge) = new Super Bowl Champs. ChrisGass9909 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 first of all the bears will NOT win one playoff game nor will cinncinati or ptssburgh, colts win the afc and the panthers or the seahawks wins the nfc
thenizzle 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 Indy defense + (Manning + Edge) = new Super Bowl Champs. hmmm last i checked manning has only beaten the pats once. how many times has brady beat manning? manning is a sick fb player, i wont take anything away from him, but the stats dont tell all. brady is much better in high pressure situations. i cant believe you guys are already turning on the pats. oh well we are used to it we're always the underdogs. when will you guys realize it, the pats are going to win? it is so obvious it has practically already happened

I mean, the Colts already smacked around the Pats in Foxboro this year. And, Chicago's the best team in the NFC, why would they not win a playoff game? ambro 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 first of all the bears will NOT win one playoff game nor will cinncinati or ptssburgh, colts win the afc and the panthers or the seahawks wins the nfcSo what, are Cincinnati and Pittsburgh just going to tie in their first round game or what? i cant believe you guys are already turning on the pats. oh well we are used to it we're always the underdogs.NE is not as good this year as they have in the past. They haven't been the underdogs EVER until this year, so I have no idea what you're talking about.
LegoDoom 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 chicago offense=worst in the league, if im not mistaken you can hold the others teams offense to 10 points but it doesnt matter if your offense doesnt get any points so... The Bears can run. So if they draw a team with a vunerable rush defense, they won't need to score much.
mik3 1 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 chicago offense=worst in the league, if im not mistaken you can hold the others teams offense to 10 points but it doesnt matter if your offense doesnt get any points so... There isn't a team that matches up well with them. Nobody stops the run all that outstanding, and the best team against the run (the Giants) will get thrown on by Grossman to Muhammad. And, of course, they have the best defense in football. If they can hold an offense to 14-17 points (which doesn't look really tough against anyone but Cincy and Indy) they can win.
