The thing he means is that if you are writting from the right, you should be a lefty.

What are you saying?I missed that one

If your most agile hand is your right you should be a lefty as a hockey player.

technically, shouldnt the strongest hand be lower on the shaft? that way you can get more leverage into your shots, and you can actually flex the shaft when you take slapshots

There are a lot of theories as to what hand you should play in hockey. Lots of guys were trained from youth to use their dominate hand on top.

"Anyone else in the hockey world would call these left-handed sticks", but he describes them as right. I'm not even sure what hand these sticks are, or why he called them McCauley Pro sticks. why did he have to make this auction so difficult?

Why does he even have a stick? If it's a backwards C it's right. Why didn't he just go to a sports store or someone and ask them? This makes me sad and confused... :(

Looks like his basic description was ok, but he forgot to add which hand the sticks are. My guess is then somebody emailed him the question: "Are the sticks RH or LH?" and that's when all hell broke loose with the brooms and backward C's!!! I also felt sad and confused when I read it, in addition to some physical pain.

What I don't understand is why many right handed people use left handed sticks, but (as far as the people I know) no natural lefties use right handed sticks.

Not necessarily, I write with my left hand but shoot right, so my weaker hand would be in the middle not my left.

Well, when you shoot, you're pulling with the top hand. You'd need the stronger arm for that.

As far as the left-handed RH shooters...Mike Grier's left-handed and shoots RH.

I don't know if this really applies to the post, but does anyone remember an article in American Hockey about theories, and which hand you play with. They explained it pretty good. Too bad I don't remember any of it. I'm right handed and i still sweep with my left hand on top? :P

The thing I get a kick out of his descriptions is all the flex types. Alyn uses a 90 flex and his curve is very small. It is almost like the old Titan Gilmour curves. Mainly straight with a slite open tip of the toe. And his sticks are like a 4.5-5 lie. I have had a couple os his in my hand and I am hoping he is going to have a couple for me this summer when he comes home. And if he does get me one or two.I'll get some pics to JR so he can post them on here.
