The penguins might as well just start dismantling right now. Ziggy is out, Mario should announce retirement, Thibault should be sold for scrap money and Gonchar should be tarred and feathered. Keep Recchi, make him captain, and let Leclair play on the third line if he wants to. Hell, they might as well go for another #1 pick full steam ahead without anybody.

Atleast we'll get to see some acrobatic saves from MAF more often.

I'd listen to him, he can pass the puck like nobodys business. He catches guys napping a few times a game every game. It happened to Ziggy all the time when they played on a line together early on in the season.

I've seen it a bunch of times already, Recchi had to yank Crosby away from Palffy early in the season during a game. The rumor I heard is that he just wants out of Pittsburgh so badly that he's willing to give up the rest of the contract.

His shoulder is completely effed again, he's 34, and he just didn't "have it" in the new nhl. I don't think this is just some quick decision because he needs surgery.

I could see him taking time off and getting his shoulder healed. Then maybe playing in Europe to see how it holds up. Maybe he's been talking to Hasek :D

i honestly wouldn't be suprised if we didn't see him in the nhl again next year. if anything, at least this leaves cap room for fleury to stay. ....damn its hard being a pens fan.

i wouldn't be suprised if patrick blows the pick on a dumb trade, but yeah, they totally need d on that team big time. malkin has me pumped though. i kept hearing things like he surpassed ovechkin in some respects. that could be cool.

He plays similar to Crosby, but is bigger. He's more of a playmaker than a passer and is excellent at finding people in open areas.

Nah, they'll skip Johnson, he plays defense. Kessel, now that would be a great guy to put on a line with Crosby.

yes, screaming and swearing at him. Rex had to physically restrain Crosby. This was either preseason or in the first couple weeks.
