Taking the blade out of an XN10

It probably will come loose. And the fuse point is like 2-2.5 inches above the heel.

just run your finger where you think the fuse point is, and ull feel a bump well like something off and thats where it is usually after a while of using the stick youll notice that you see a little crack line and thats where it is, if you cant do that grab a synthesis blade(composite) put it heel to heel and ur gonna find it, and the wood one is longer then the comp. one so use the composite one

has any1 taking the blade out of a new XX? i have a maxx stick'um and want to take the blade out but i dont know if it will work on these like it did on the older XX's.

When I cut the blade of my synergy intending to make a synthesis blade and i sanded the sides and all, the tenon or hosel or whatever ya call it (the bit that goes in the shaft) was foam inside, but i gave it a shot anyway and it snapped first shot

I wish I had clicked on this when i saw it a couple days ago.I broke the blade on my Ric Jackman xn10.I ened up cutting the blade two inches below the "s" on the bottom tps logo. I should have gone down another 2 inches from where I cut.I wouldn't have had to buy an extended wood butt-end.My stupid mistake....I still like the shaft though.

I've been heating up my XN10 all afternoon and still won't come out.

I even cut it on the fuse point a bit still won't budge, any suggestions?

I pulled a blade out of my Xn10 a few nights, ago, but hte tennon (not the hosel) was pretty warped. It was like it broke from inside the stick. The tennon was cracked on one side, and it looked like it was turning inside out. I'll try and toss up pictures later. I have a regular tapered blade in there I'm trying tommorow morning.

no, the xn10 is the technology that makes the stick so much lighter and stronger and all around better

no. i couldnt get it out, i ended up just cutting the blade off.

Finally, It came out as smotth as a baby's ass. I had to heat it for 7mins

i held a tapered blade up to the shaft to see where the tendon of the tapered blade ended and maked it off and cut there. hope that helps.
