Datsuk's deke on Turco

It was a faked shot and a heel drag. Turco was out of position and overreacted on the fake. It was nice but nothing that anyone here couldn't do. Most people would have gone to the backhand after the fake and changed the angle even more than Datsyuk did.

Unless I'm retarded, Datsyuk did his "amazing deke" against the Wild, and Turco plays for the Stars. So to everyone has been saying he did his deke on Turco the whole time, I think you're wrong.

He tried the same move a week later against Minnesota and it wasn't as effective. It was mentioned earlier in this thread I'm pretty sure.

The first time he did it and completely schooled the goalie, it was against Minnesota. The second time he did it in a penalty shot, it was against Carolina. I have a video of both on my other computer. I'll send them to anyone who wants them over MSN.

EDIT - Remember, I am not 100% sure on this and haven't watched the videos for a month or two and need to go watch them again and double check. When I do, I'll let you know what I see.

EDIT #2 - I guess I am retarded about the first one. Just watched the video on the Let's Go Wings site and saw that it was Dallas. I must say the jersey's look amazingly similar to Minnesota's. I'm pretty sure though that the second one in the penalty shot was against Carolina though. I'll go check it now.

EDIT #3 - Ok, now you guys can go ahead and start making fun of me. When I watched them I must have just been looking at the jersey colors and in the second one Minnesota was wearing their red 3rd jerseys. I was wrong about both. Damn it!

I'm pretty sure Chadd is right. First one was against the Stars, and Detroit won like 6-1. I remember it vividly because Hull made a helluva pass, something that he really isn't known for. Then he tried it on Rolston and he got shut down.

The one minute is from the 3rd edit... I edited it 3 times as you can see and the 2nd one was about 6 minutes before JR's post. And the only reason I like to start arguements is if I disagree with what someone says. Here, I am not disagreeing with anyone so I see no reason to argue.

Let's edit this one as well... Mack, does it seem odd that pretty much every arguement I get into is with you? Maybe you just like pushing people's buttons to get them to look like an ass.

Who do you guys think is better? Datsyuk or Zetterberg? I ask this just because this year was kind of the year they both got noticed, and they seem like they are both the same type of player, and pretty close skill wise. Who would you rather have on your team?

I think Datsyuk is slightly better overall. Together, they are amazing, but it seems like when compared, Zetterberg gets the nod. Zetterberg is a little bigger than Pavel, but both of the Euro Twins are still relatively small. Datsyuk seems to be a better center than Zetterberg is. I just hope that they can play together again next year.

datsyuk goal was nice because he made it look good, its not a hard move to do but to make it look good is tough, nothing looks lamer then when some chump does it on a breakaway, whether he scores or not 95% of the time it looks like garbage

It was nice because he made Turco bite so badly on the deke, thus making him look nasty and Turco look like an asshole.
