Nice old brand, this wakes some memo of happy times for many older players,

Anybody think this can be a winner, thinking about taking the whole line, they have a very smart new products for kids, all needed equipment in one suit, like a underwear included all pads and suspenders, easy for kids to use, but in my wiew from a sale point not smart, i need people to come back to my shop

Damn they use to make a great wood stick. Right up there with Montreal.

It would be real nice to see their stuff on the shelves for sure.

I had a junior Aluminum Torspo shaft w/radius dimension. Pretty light, but it was junior. It broke b/c I forced a Sr blade in it.

My favourite all time woody is the Kitchener

god Kitchner's were the only woods that I would break..

loved the Torspo..right up there with the TPM 2020, Canadian 6001, SW 7030, Vic 4050 and some Northlands I' picked up at Cupolo's on a whim and the Montreal 44 with the Euro curve

What, no Koho 221? That was a hockey stick! I remember when they came across from Finland in early 70s. Gary Bergman on Red Wings was using one. I went to Gerry Cosby's at MSG before my next NYR game and bought one. That was the beginning of the end of the Northland domination of hockey sticks. Yep, getting a woodie for a woodie!!

Cosby's probably still has some @ 34.99!!

Actually its been a few years now.but the last time I was at South Windsor they had some of Middendorf's sticks and a Rick Vaive 2020 with some funky coloring

the guys I skated with forbid me to use Koho's after my 221 or similar was the closest thing to a broom you ever saw..the puck would magically go through the blade..we used to get the Canadian stuff from the west point guys..nothing like 100 lb kid using a 7001...oh yeah..i can flex it..and then the jr 6001 is like a 40 flex..snap

Back when Max was on the Sudbury Wolves in 86, he was using those Koho 2210s. They probably came out of the same factory as Canadien 6001s. OHL players all had to use Kohos or Titans as the league had a stick deal, even back then.

As for Torspro, they were used as recently as Canada Cup 87 by CCCP. I noticed the sticks while watching a video I taped of the games.

Max was awesome a shame about his troubles, what was with that young talent on the Nords at that time (Fogarty ,etc)...never in a million years would have thought he'd wind up with the stripes

I had Torspo's in 87-88..along with Chimo...those Black Shot's and XL1's @ $50 were just too pricey along with the Titan Turbo

I talked to TPS president John Pagotto about the Titan Turbo stick. He was part of the Titan team that brought that stick over in the 80s and put it in Mike Bossy's hands. Anybody remember The Hockey News cover with Bossy holding the flaming burning blade Titan stick? This is totally from the archives of my memory banks!! I remember when the Stastny brothers all carried the Chimo lumber!! Great call on the Chimo. Of course, Peter, Marian, and Anton all had the Orbit skates on, too!

I saw Fogerty play in OHL with Kingston back in the day. Tremendous waste of talent. Hey Theo, the boys have been partying on the bus for a long, long, long time! And some, unfortunately, ended up under the bus...........

The more things change, the more things stay the same..............
