Actually, the original Ottawa Senators (NHL) moved to St. Louis and were renamed the Eagles for the '34-'35 season. The following year the franchise folded completely.

And the Pittsburgh Pirates (NHL) moved to Philadelphia to become the Philadelphia Quakers for the '30-'31 before suspending operations.

All were NHL teams. My little history knowledge is good for something...I hope.

Yeah, my bad the WHA team from Phili were the Blazers (horible yellow and orange jerseys) and St-Louis had no WHA team but there was a team named the Screaming Eagles from Miami.
