Recommended Posts

Just came back and here is the deal:

Things of note

Franklin pants NEW $40.

Vanannen XX sticks $100.

Kubina OPS Koho (Used by Worrell) $75.

Hahl OPS Koho $75.

Hahl Grip Vectors $75.

McCallister Grip synergy $75.

Unmarked Sceptors $75.

Sauer M-2s and Pro shafts with wood blades $75.

Skates and gloves are pretty beat up. Of the equipment the Franklin pants are by far the best. A few old shafts for $25 and not much for blades. Righties are SOL.

Some of the wood blades on the M-2 were in good shape. I got the only M-2 with a sauer composite blade. The pattern is a mid to toe and about a 5.5 lie. The Sceptor is by Franklin. They did have a few Eclipses as well for $75.

What's the curve like on the Hahl Grip Vectors?

The Hahl pattern is a lie 5.5 with a toe curve. Pretty fat blade with a bit of a twist.

I forgot about the Gratton XN10's. Very nice pattern. Lie 5 with a slight heel and plenty of loft. Very Mackeqsue.

Off the subject... Derek Morris doesn't have a retail pattern does he? Because at my LHS in the Denver area they have some Morris sicores that are normal orange but with grip, and they even have a Blake synergy.

Five bucks each. A couple black Aubin Mission Ether woods, Christian Puck Master Fitzgeralds, and a couple McAllister Easton Custom pros. Under a dozen in all. Real weard sale. About 100 used OPS, a few blades and very old unused shafts and very little equipment.

Players bench in Littleton at the new location. I was just there 2 days ago and they had about 4 Morris pro's, I'm gonna pick one up if they still have them when I get my first paycheck.

Always wanted to try an abs cap. Were they any good? Used Corebeam 9s with great success. Only problem was that they were brittle.

The best shaft KoHo made in the era was the Corelight. Awesome shaft, lightweight and a TOTAL tank. Recchi used to use one if I remember correctly, I used it for ice, and now ball hockey.

I honestly felt Koho had the best composite shafts for years in the 90s before they were overtaken by the competition. Vector, Revolution drc, Corebeam9, etc.

They were Skoula's so the were extra stiff. I should know as I have one from a few years back.

They were $25. each.
