OPS Flex

I remember reading somewhere, maybe here (search didnt turn anything up) that OPS's are either slightly stiffer or more flexible than they are rated......can anyone chime in on this?

i know for sure that easton stealths are whippier in comparison to other sticks I've played with.

Someone correct If I'm wrong but it could vary on the longer tapers of different companys; which is why the Stealth feels whippier because of the long taper.

A lot of it is PP. How you play and the type of shots that you take can affect the flex you use and how a stick feels. CCM and Rbk sticks that are rated as a mid flex feel like a 90-95 flex, while TPS regular flex feel about 90. The Flex Chart is a good guide to stick flexs.

There is always a little margin for error on any product.

Chadd is right. I have had 2 Vapor XXX's (the old navy ones) both were the same length and rated 77 flex. The second one I received as a replacement seems noticeable flexier. Although this could just be a complete coincidence, I looked inside the shaft of each and one was labeled 280, while the newer one 320...
