im new here so go easy.. i need a bit of advise ok.. i play semi pro ice in the UK, all the stores around here are rubbish when it comes to getting in sticks...

iv been using the modano curve for ages now but recently my 7K and SL both broke.. my team bought me vapor XX but they got the wrong patterns, we have to stick with them... anyway - its the P106. my problem is because this is a 6 lie (modano is a 5) my tape is all wearing off at the heel now and i cant control the puck... would making my twig shorter help? any suggestions?!

Those Fools should have got you the PM9 Hossa curve...

But makeing it slightly shorter will help a bit.

i think you may be better off with it, even though its weaering at the heel, since its a heel curve, if you learn to stickhandle with it, you'll shoot the puck from the heel and thus may possess a better shot.

only other thing to do is shortnign the stick bit by bit until you find an appropriate length

yeah - thats what it says on different sites but i compared it to a P10 (gange) which is a 6 and they are both the same..

what curve do you use?

i use a custom heel curve that is a cross between modano, and drury, lie 5

but im using a drury sl right now, 5.5 and im having trouble controling the puck as well, it's wearing right at the heel too.
