Whip

What blade is everyone using?

I use the Jofa Multi-Surface blade in the IW(red) pattern. The durability is great but the curve is absolutely outrageous.

Depends on what surface I'm playing on - currently I'm on sport-court so it's my Z-Carbon Lidstrom, but when I'm back outdoors over the summer I think I'll go back to my Flyweight with a PRT blade...

Oh yeah my friend had a couple of those, the curve was bigger than the Thortan

I play on asphalt and smooth concrete and the Sherwood 405 a.b.s. (Coffey curve) works great. Durability is similar to that of the Jofa 5500 multi-surface (MS curve), which is another good outdoor blade that I used to use.

Hmm...the Sherwood 405 I had wasn't nearly as stiff as the bauer abs or the koho crossovers that I've used and I also snapped it at the hosel after three days of use. Meanwhile, I have a bauer 500 abs blade which has a cracked hosel but hasn't snapped in about two months of use (about two hours of use, just shooting around in a school yard). It's just a pain b/c now the shop near me isn't ordering anymore bauer 500 abs blades so I'll have to swtich or buy some in bulk.

Hmm...my sister always wants to go there (damn JAP) or SOHO (just for vapor, so he knows he's not alone), so sometime within the next month, she'll ask and I'll tag along if they've got anything. I had no idea there was a PIAS there, though. Only knew about the ones in glen cove road (5 minutes from iceland) and the one in oceanside. Do keep me posted though as I'd like to stock up on one or two for the summer.

The PIAS is in a weird spot though. If and when your going, its in a little shopping center with Gamestop and Marshalls in it. I went last night because i broke my bauer 500 :( , and they had lots of them. Although they did change the graphics a little, they're only $14.99 for both Sr's and Jr's. I had to stock up on them, because i love em.

Pic of new graphics:

I play on sportcourt for roller and tennis court for ball hockey. On the sportcourt I use a SyNergy or my Black Beauty blades. For the tennis court I use a pro return Sherwood Axion blade or an Easton abs blade.
