Stick Grip

Recommended Posts

A year ago my easton stick started to lose its grip feel and after searching high and low I found this stuff called Pow-R-Tac. It's a spray on product that works AWESOME. Ever since I found this stuff I have applied it to all my sticks without the grip feel and I think it's better then the stuff sticks are coming with from the factory. Has anyone heard of or used this stuff?

I tried it 3 or 4 years ago and suggest it to people looking for a mild grip. I'm not a big fan of it though.

What would you suggest other than this? I couldnt find anything else myself. I love that I can use this on an easton ST silver instead of that nasty green stick.

If you use gloves that have a "better" palm, you don't need a grip stick.

chadd, what about the Strech palm, will using this stuff would work??

Also, do this grip last for a long time? because the easton tackyfing cloth seem to not hold more than 1 game...

I found that the spray will last for 3-4 games. But at only 5 bucks a can and how well I think it works I feel it's a winner. I will try to find some better palms for my gloves though. What are digital palms? Who makes them?

hey, i love my green one :D the grip is falling off of it though, i might want to grab some of that stuff. i also may buy a blue ST and put it on that. the durability on my green ST hasn't been the greatest, it's chipping on the heel and the toe, not impressed. anyone else have that problem?

This is where I got it from. I bought 2 cans so it was worth the shipping. Otherwise you pay as much if not for for shipping. But I do love the stuff.

Are the powrtac sticky? I got some easton tactifying cloth and my stich was all sticky and nasty.. if I knew it would be that bad, I would've just used the old method of rubbing the sticky part of hockey tape on the shaft.

For grip, I just cut out the palms of my gloves and some parts of the fingers.. it works wonders for me.

No I dont put it on my gloves. Actually it's weird because it feels tacky/sticky but it dosent leave a sticky feel on your hands or gloves. I dont think it will work if you spray it on your gloves.

I agree with the palm material thing, I've always wanted grip on my stick but now I got kangeroo goat palms and they are grippy enough that i dont want stick grip.
