I dont know about 5-10 but you can feel the difference between a 260g shaft and a 310g shaft.

And outside of the xN10 shafts, all of the other shafts are only minimally different in weights.

You guys really need to get off this weight kick and just go with what feels good in your hands.

Light sticks feel good in my hands..

I'm talking about the kids who have to know what each stick/shaft weighs as if they can feel a 5-10 gram difference between sticks.

I can tell if the balance is "off" compared to what I normally use. Weight by itself is really irrelevant to me.

Use standard shafts, and as long as it's under 300g's I don't care.

Play with a 290g XX shaft and it feels nice, had a 250 xn10 which felt blade heavy.

Balance is more important than weight, unless it's a complete brick.

A 280-290g shaft (51inches) with a nice blade is prefarably.

Oh, and shaft shape is important too! Dislike rounded shafts, but concave is nice +no grip. Have plenty of grip in my palms.

Weight: 280-290

Grip: None

Shape: Concave or traditional (slighty boxy) since I have big hands.

And for tapershafts:

Bauer XV is nice if you like grip.

Synthesis/Syngergy 2 is decent.

Inno shafts are nice, so might want to check out the new Dolomite Taper shaft when it comes around..... spring....
