Ultra Lite blade vs Ultra Graphite blade

Recommended Posts

Don't know which one to get. The Ultra lite blade is about 15 dollars more then the Graphite blade.

Has anyone used any of the blades and comment on them.

Thanks

Ultra Graphite is extremely durable, stays stiff for a very long time but the vast majority say it has no feel.

Never used the new blue ultra lite blades but I've had the second generation UL blades with the olive green kevlar weave and I found it to be heavier than my UG in spite of their advertised weight difference. (UL supposed to be lighter).

I personally loved my UG blade.

the pro have a different version, in fact i think those are carbon blades. the ug is good, i've been using it the past year, it is still stiff and functional, feel isn't all that bad

yea i think iam gonna spend a little more

anybody recommend a few good graphite/carbon blades?

iam looking into the CCM V110 blade any comments?

also iam use to the modo curve and the closest thing to the modo is Stuart of CCM

the fact that it is longer then the modo, will it affect anything?

ccm v110 are amazing, excellent durability doesn't lost his stiffness,i used to use this blade for asphalt and ice hockey and the blade is still 90% stiff! You can,t go wrong.

I dont really like the V110 blade. Feels plasticky for the lack of a better term. Yes it stays stiff and is durable, but somehow it doesnt feel right.

Those black Easton blades the pros uses aren't the Ultra Graphite blades, they are a different version of the Z-Carbon. I started using one this week and the only similarity is the name, aside from both being top of the line there is no comparison.

The vector 110 has a shortened hosel so if I pair it with my shaft then it would change the lie so therefore its out of the picture.

I am now looking into possibly getting a Vapor X blade anybody use it before or have any oppions on it?

My friend has one and it looks like any high end Bauer blade, thinner hosel and such. Not sure if it is made by Inno or not though.
