Is an easton stealth worth buying? with regards to durability in relation to price, i am just 16 at 11 stone so would durability be an issue?

people were saying it was a bad durability stick compared to the old synergy line. Now, people say that the stealth is amazing compared to the new SL line,

I think the stealth is better than the SL(in the category of super ligth stick) if not go for the ST.

It's a gamble, if you can afford to take the gamble financially, and you want to try the stick, then yes it is worth it. If you NEED it for a long period of time, then no it is not worth it.

agreed..also I believe there are better sticks out there besides the stealth..in my opinon ( not based on weight) the XXX lite ( also not durable) and the warrior/ inno line is sick..best option would be to pick up a pro stock version of the stealth of something i mentioned above

i have had my stealth for 4-5 months, and i play 4 times a week. never thought that it would break, but slashed, hacked at, the whole nine yards. i play defense, and it has held up very well in the corners.

I would give the XXX a try if you ca find a pattern, not the xxx LITE but the regular XXX or any discount OPS, like the ''true-blue'' from peranis 2 for 200.

Its a huge gamble. I took the gamble and had it last 35 days, which is worse than some but alot better than some. Its all really a gamble. If you don't want to take a risk, try out a TPS Adrenaline. I loved my Stealth but then it broke and I got this and am never going back to Easton.

Yes your right, but they are cheaper than the XXX, this is what i wanted to mean, you can buy OPS that isn't bad at a lower price than the big name.

The only problems with TPS the int. sticks have that wierd shape, its WAY to rounded for me, I like square shafts....

Then try the whip flex.

You ask two questions here. IS THE STEALTH WORTH BUYING (yes or no) and is durability an issue (yes or no). The answers may be different. So, if I say YES the Stealth is worth buying am I also saying that YES durability is an issue? (or vice versa - don't buy it but it's durable?)

I think the Stealth is like the SL as far as durabilty.

I haven't tried a ST yet but I am going to try it next. Does anyone know how the feel of the ST compares to the SL?

A couple of grams won't make a lick to me I am just worried about how the puck feels on the stick.

my first stealth lasted me 7 months, the second lasted me 9 days. overall a good stick. you can probly find them on clearance with the CNT coming out. if moneys not a problem wait and get the CNT. The manager of my lhs told me good things about the new stealths.

I have used 3 stealths since it came out...one broke after a week, one after about a month, and the other lasted probably 2 months or so. I can't really compare the durability because every other one of my OPS have broken in a similar amount of time...3 Vapor XXX that broke at around a month, and 2 of the Warrior/Inno Starskies that broke under a month. Basically it is hit and miss like said before.

Also, the 06 stealths will have a new blade that may hold up differently(though stealths usually break in the shaft)

From what ive heard stronger CNT blade and reinforced kevlar shaft. i was told at one of the hockey show they took a CNT stealth and a vapor XXX and started hammer on the XXX with the stealth he said after a few shots the XXX was destoyed and the stealth didnt have a mark on it. i dont know wether that was a sales pitch or the truth.
