According to Hockey Giant, the Bauer XV blade retails for $99.90 but Hockey Giant is selling it at the "discounted rate" of $69.99.

What kind of crack is Bauer/Nike smoking.. $70 for a blade?

I figured.. part of the problem I'm having with this is that I love the P88 curve that I had on my XX. Since I broke the blade on my XX though I had to replace it with something which is a R2 woody Messier. For some reason the woody feels sluggish on sport court so I might have to go down and buy the R2 regular blade.. there's no way I'm spending $70 on a blade, $40 is a stretch but $70 is outrageous.

The cheapest graphite blade I`ve seen at my LHS was like 65 for a Franklin blade!

Innos are 80, Z Carbs are 90 ect. All in play money but still is alot!

Replacement blades for 99$US is crazy, but like others said that price will come down soon cos no-one will or should be buying blades at that price!!

HG used to have the Jofa 9500 blades for $60 each when they first came out this year, and now a few months later, they're down to $40.
