Probably getting xxx's next time i buy skates and i wanted to try and get some red holders to match the xxx like said above and i was wondering if there is any possibel way you can get these or if it's something you would just have to do yourself and if it is are there any other methods of dying a holder besides just spray painting it?

they say that dyning them effects the performance or durability

spray painting is definatly the cheapest and easiest way to do it

and wh oknows if they make red ones for a certain team and that would bea hassle to try and get a hold of some

I'm not pissing on his parade, just telling him the Tuuks don't look good with those skates.

Anyway, I think a chrome colored Tuuk (matching steel) would be bad ass no matter the skate. Mark this, it'll be out once they start glorifying the Tuuk. Tuuk has no style yet?

The blue Tuuks would look nice on the One90s IMO. Could change with actual visualization, but I think it'll look cool. Keep rockin' it, bhill, different is the right way. :)

Usually i dont care about the look of my equipment (except helmet: Bauer 4000!! coolest helmet ever) but these holders look sooo nice! They remind me of the late 80s when me and my dad watched team germany in a WCH game on tv (to the other germans: wasn't it Didi Hegen with the blue holders?) My dad had to paint my graf holder blue after that game ;)

Try to find some blue laces for these skates!

If you spraypainted your holders wouldnt the paint probably just chip off everytime something hit it?

If you were to use the spraypaint designed for the material that holders are made of, there is a good chance it would last fairly well. The krylon Fusion paint should work. Has anyone tried this yet, cause i wouldent mind doing this to my pitchs on my s400's.

i have tried it its been on for one game(ice) and three sesions of lice and only three small scratches on the hell but thats from me hitting the blades onto the holder

if you put on like 3 to 4 coats (to be safe 4) and properly done and prepped they should come out nice

mine are in the "show it off" thread a couple pages back Vapor XX's with black lightspeeds

If it helps any i just taped off the boot, and the steel. Didnt bother to tape off the rivets.
