I have a playlist to get me amped on the way to pickup...here's a few tunes

"In my blood", and "Lay My Burden Down" - Seemless

"The Air That I Breathe" - All That Remains

"Holy Roller" - Throwdown

"Nothing Left" - As I Lay Dying

"Imperium" - Machine Head

"Rose Of Sharyn" - Killswitch Engage

"For Those Of You Who Kill" - Aftershock (oldie, but a goodie!!)

....and to agree with Lotus, anything Unearth!

**Shameless plug for their new live DVD "Alive from the Apocalypse"!!**

Not exactly pump-up, but they play "battle without honor or humanity" (tomoyasu hotei) from Kill Bill as the background music to the starting lineups at Umass games. Its pretty freakin sweet.

Funny how most of the "pump up songs" mentioned are heavy or fast songs, but look at Montreal's intro. "Where the Streets Have No Name" by U2...hardly the heaviest song, or something that you'd consider to pump up a crowd...but as part of the whole display with the videos on the ice...and the driving guitar/bass line....it seems to do the job.

Every time I hear it on the radio, I envision that Bell Centre intro.

Hip to be square .... Hewie Lewis and the News ....

Anyone ....? ..... Any takers?

Ok, so Rage Against the Machine (pretty much any), Kid Rock (Cowboy), Drop Kick Murphey's (song from the start of the Departed), ACDC (TNT, Shook me all night long) and of course G'n'R (get in the ring).

A new game - sam spence. it's the song with the bells used during nfl clips before commercials and has no words.

Autumn Thunder: 40 Years of NFL Films Music may quite possibly be the greatest collection of instrumental music of all time.
