New 8090's

I just purchased a new pair of 8090's and it seems as though everyone that i talk to has their own unique and original way to quickley loosen up and break in a new pair of skates. So i pose the question to all of you...what IS the best and quickest way to start feeling comfortable in a new pair of skates??, be it 8090 or anything else for that matter.

Go skating as much as you can during the first couple weeks IMO

I once asked a former NHL player I am friends with if he had any good ways of breaking in skates. He gave me his secret. Every time he got new skates he would give them to a team mate who wore them to practice for a week. Unfortunately, when I ran into that old team mate the next week, he was about 3 sizes bigger than me.
