All Torhs Team 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 I dont know what they want either, but what pops into my head when i hear anything like that is very defensive and error-less. if your on defense get it out of the zone and on offense just get shots shots shots.i guess i just play strict defense when something like that comes up that way theres nothing they can be mad about
jjtt99 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 I believe it means play physical. Dump the puck. Shoot from anywhere. And crash the net looking for garbage goals.

And crash the net looking for garbage goals. **in best game show voice**Tell him what he's won, Bob!You coaches want you to play hard, aggressive hockey. Garbage goals may not be pretty, but they look the same on the stat sheet.
gavin 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 I know my coach... sometimes when he says that he is implying he wants some blood on a jersey before the end of the period. He played some pretty rough Senior AAA hockey back in the day. But when he's thinking clearly ... he probably also means that we need to stop the showmanship and start doing the hard work in front of the nets, in the corners etc. to get the tough goals. BK 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 Less finesse, focus less on technology and more on muscles.. hit somebody. this is the old hockey that some of you old timers will remember.. none of this new technology, just RAW skills..Heres something fun.. take the word "skate" and replace it "shoes" and the casual web surfer would think MSH is a homosexual hockey forum.. dix0r 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 that confused me a little bit too...i've got another random one too:we've got this game at my rink that a coworker taught me...you watch nearly any kids hockey game and just listen to the parents yell - then apply everything they say to a bedroom situation. sounds dull but it can be pretty amusing...then again, during 8 hour shifts, just about anything starts to get more amusing. something about not seeing natural light messes with me after a while i think.
