toroytorero 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 alright I'm headed to vegas for a tourny next week. first time in vegas as an adult so aside from a schedule full of hockey I was wondering if anyone has any tips on some free stuff to see. I do have a budget put aside for alcohol gambling and T n A but it's a bit limited so I wanted to hear some suggestions incase I get my ass handed to me at the tables. oh yeah and any suggestions as to a good sports bar to catch some playoff hockey. Any of the sports books should have a game on one of the screens.
Trippingblue 1 Report post Posted April 23, 2006 -Fountains at the Bellagio...free and depending on the song not a bad show.-Sirens of the TI at Treasure Island...don't waste your time, even for free it's a horrible show.-Window shopping @ Wynn Las Vegas. That's free, and pretty cool. Plus if you're there, buy a drink at the Rotunda bar, and sit outside at the waterfall patio.-Fashion Show Mall. It's crap, aside from the cool spaceship thing.-The volcano @ the Mirage. Fire Fire Fire!Bally's Sports Book is really nice, and they will most likely throw down with the playoff games.7.77 deal at Mr. Lucky's @ the Hard Rock Hotel...steak, shrimp, and sides for 7.77, but you have to ask for it since it's not on the menu.--nick--
toroytorero 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2006 I'm actually staying right across the street from the mirage so I'm sure to check out the volcano. but thanks for the 7.77 info I might do that a couple of times.
dix0r 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2006 not sure if it's only for hotel guests or not but i think if you sign up for the riviera gambling club you get $50 worth of free slot play. you can't cash any of that out, but any money you make above $50 you get to keep...i won $56 on a nickel slot game i had no idea how to use, which paid for my room for a night ;]'same deal at the golden nugget at fremont street. IIRC don't bother with that promotion at the barbary coast...you have to turn 50 credits into like 10,000 to actually win anything.also, arizona charlies has $2.50 ham steak & eggs...and it's good. a couple other specials at that price.
