Mike Modano Hit

Did anybody see the hit on Modano. I am watching the game now, and it looked like he was out. I first thought it was a broken collarbone or something, but then it looked like he got it square in the jaw. Has anybody heard anything about his injury. Personally I thought it was a clean hit, shoulder to jaw. What'd you guys/girls think?

I think it took him a while to remember who his Daddy was after that one!!!

As was stated earlier-It doesnt matter much now - C-YA Dallas!!!

Clean hit?

Absolutly-He had his head down when he was cutting to the outside around 1 player and didnt see the other player coming at him-If you saw the aftermath when he was on the ice it was a classic boxer type knockout shot

When you are flat on your back and holding your arms up the way he was it is a reflex that is quite common when a boxer gets KO'd

Square shot to the chin and upper chest area

Wouldnt be suprised if there was a concussion involved-did you see the way he tried playing when he got back on the ice? Dont think all the duckies were in the pond at that time!

Modano was the guy 'covering' Brunette when he scored in OT. Let him slip by to the front of the net.

Wonder if his knock to the head slowed him down a step or two?
