Del Zotto is one of my best friends. It's pretty surreal that he's going through all this right now. I called yesterday when he was in Oshawa adressing the media, he said it was crazy, people asking him questions every step he took, all that good stuff.

Anyone else surprised that Carrick got drafted in the 6th..

I thought he'd go 13-15th if anything. Wilson in the 10th..bush league. He should have been top 5. And Noble didn't get drafted at all. Few surprises there.

I played in cardinal at my own age group and prescott at midget level.

We won both, I won most outstanding defencemann in both as well.

Did you play for Kanta?

lol ya.. well i didnt play ur team..we had provincials the next week we had 7 guys sit and called up 5 91's and two 90's lol..and our younger teams arent great lol thus why we llooked pretty bad. I noticed ribeiro got drafted high. I watched him pretty closely didnt do anythign special for me, is he a good hockey player?

yea i dont know him personally but he is a good player always knows where the puck is going he has size and he can shoot the puck aswell...

Ribs is a great guy, lives down the street from me. I'm happy he got drafted high because to be honest thats pretty much all he has to look forward. I've never seen girls flock to one guy as much as Ribsy. His only faults on the ice may be his heart. Sweetblazer, you probably saw him in one of his many games where he did nothing on the ice. He has an outstanding game evrey 3 games, the rest he is unoticable.

could someone explain to me how this works? do you have to put your name in or how do they come about getting your name? also i dont understand the age thing. any explaination would be great!

You get scouted, they see you, your in the system....

well when its your year you will get letters or a call from an ohl team saying that they are going to pick you for the ohl draft but you dont nessacariy have to get a heads up it might just happen.... you have to make the LIST whici is all the best players and you dont put your name anywhere if your good enough they will find you...
