Toecaps killing me

My bbig prob finding a skate is the stupid toecap. I can fit into missions d, bauer D and eastons but the damn toecap is soooo narrow!! why cant skate companies make wider toecap, it does not even affect skating!!!! what should I do??

Id try a size Wide in a graf skate.

Try a CCM Vector, they are sligtly bigger in the toecap area than most other brands I've tried. (Bauer / Mission / Graf)

I believe Nike has a pretty wide cap. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I was having a problem with my Missions rubbing the sides of my big toes raw. Now I just wrap a couple rounds of stick tape around them before a skate and I'm good. Makes my toenails black, tho. People think I paint them.

I had the same problem, the Nike Flexlite 12 solved the problem. Also the Bauer 8090 seems to be wider than most.

You should consider the Salming F1's. The feedback is they have a lot of room in the toecap.

I only find the toecap painful, the midfoot and heel can fit into pretty narrow skates. If I'm a 7.0D in vector, what size am I in salming?

Check out the Easton Synnergy composite skates too - caps are wider.

I want to try the E with in the easton 700, will the toecap be wider and how much wider will the midfoot and heel be?

You can park a truck in there and yet have plenty off space left in the toe cap!

I concurr go for the Nike Flexlites or a CCM/Reebok/Vector E width skate. Lots of toe cap room but especially in the Nikes. ;)

Just as a side not, you can stretch our toecaps on a boot stretcher....Put them in the oven for 5 minutes or so, and then put them on the stretcher overnight....

ergh how do you stretch the toecap justin? Do you puch them out? the mission skates just have too narrow of a toecap....I want to skate in a mission so badly
