One90 Runner length

Recommended Posts

I was looking over the specs on this skate. I noticed that the runner length is the same as the runner for the XXX. They say the the runners are longer on the One90. How would this be possible? Can a runner from an LS2 go into an LS2 power?

You will feel a difference skating on LS 2 Power after "regular" LS 2. I have been on the LS 2 Power runners for over 2 weeks now. There is an adjustment period in the change over. It doesn't surprise me that most pros on One90s put on LS 2 or Tuuk Custom Plus. They were probably very comfortable with the previous length steel. As for us non-professionals, if you get LS 2 Power runners, give yourself some time to adjust before making any final decisions about whether you like it or not. I have adjusted and am very satisfied with LS 2 Power runners.

Is the info in the product guide false. In my son's case they are both listed as 246, so how is it that the power runners are longer? Is it that they have more blade on the ice? Will this effect be negated when I have they proflied to the same specs of the LS2 that he has skated on in the past?

So tell us, your top speed is what.. 10-15 mph faster now, correct?

So the LS2 and LS Power holders are the same in the fact they come in sizes like 280 , 288, 296, 302 and bolt up in all the same holes on the skates as the LS2, but the holder and steel itself is longer?

The older you get, the smarter you play.......Jimmy, I'll take a set of LS Power's for an extra millisecond of speed.

No Cheating! There's no way around leg lifts, squats, etc. Repeat after me, and 1, and 2, and 3.

Brad Park: My hero. The guy did more the last years of his career with smarts and experience than any other player I can thnk of. Two bad knees but he played the game on guile and angles. Here's a cheer for older smart players!!
