Props to Hockey Services and Philly Express

So I put in an order for 12 pairs of custom mesh socks (baby blue with a 3 1" stripes, green white, and red, team italy socks). I put that order in on Friday morning. I recieved the socks today (tuesday). I was expecting at least two weeks for production and delivery. Hockey services was amazing to deal with, and philly express shipped directly to me. It's nice to have great customer service these days.

whats the deal with these mesh socks? what sort of material are they made out of? I'd be interested in some for roller hockey cause it gets so damn hot and I hate those friggin' girdles.

they are 100% Polyester and are mesh (obviously). They are great on the ice, they are well ventilated and keep your legs nice and cool. Hockey Services sells them in solid colors. If you want a pair of the socks I described, I will sell you one, just send me a pm.

I used hockey services for my college team's shells and warm-ups and they were very good to deal with....

If I had my preference I'd never play in the traditional cotton socks again...way too warm. The mesh keeps your legs nicely ventilated. Although one drawback is that some styles are very tight around the calves.

I worn them a couple times, but they fit tight. Tight enough I don't really need to tape, which is good since I use tons usually. The cooler leg is a bit overrated since you still got a huge shinpad on your leg, but you do feel a nice breeze. They seem pretty durable, only got a very tiny tear so far-- heckuva lot more durable than the regular team socks I'd been wearing..plus they a whole lot cheaper, think it was like $6 a pair or so from eBay. The seller's name is like Jacyce's or something. Think I might pick up some more in the future if I need socks, they arn't half bad. But I would chat with the seller if you got like hugely thick legs or something.
