breaking in skates

i just bought a pair of roller skates and was wondering the best way to break them in, a few people have told me hot water. but dont know how hot and also some1 said the oven at 150 degrees for 20min and then wear them for 10. but was wondering if anyone knew anything about breaking them in, or heat molding them yourself. thank you

Soak a pair of socks in warm water and then wear the skates around the house.

I did, slightly shorter time then stated but it all worked out perfectly fine. Skates now feel like golden slippers.
