Warrior Curves

Recommended Posts

I'm looking into buying a couple Dolomites but I was wondering if anyone has a pic of the Robitaille, or Weight curves? or what curves they compare to in more popular patterns?

Thanks

Edit: Does the 85 flex actually feel like an 85, or does it feel more whippy?

Theres no curve pics though......

Also i use inno blades which have the McCarty curve which is the Robataille clone but i want to get some standard warrior AK27 blades but are any of the available curves any close to the Robataille/McCarty? After looking at the catalog the weight seems to be the closest to me, what do people think though?

What do you mean there are no curve pics? Click on one of the links, then select a curve and its picture will appear. If a picture of the whole sticks comes up click on the arrow below the picture.

Yeah but you can't tell the curve because all it shows is the blade.

Are you serious? WHat else do you need? It shows a top view of the blade (which shous the curve)

Just letting you guys know that the Robitaille is the Bauer P71 Peca/ Old St. Louis pattern. Compared both sticks in the LHS and it matches up exactly, same profile/ curve.

Robitallie is the Easton Iginla also. Just the blade is a little thicker is all....

I'm thinking about buying a dolomite tapered shaft/blade combo and I have a few questions. Does the shaft have the 3" wooden end plug, or is it composite all the way to the top (like on a bauer or vector ops)? How does the dolomites 85 flex feel compared to easton's? I know the federov is a Modano clone, but the warrior catalog says it is a 4 lie. Is the federov lie much different than the modano lie?

So if the robatille is the same as the peca and iggy, then the iggy is the same as the peca?! If i had known that it could have solved so many problems for me switching curves.

Has anyone managed to sort out the warrior lie's? Are they really what they say cause it seems very low.

Robitaille is longer and deeper than Iggy. In Easton terms it would be more of a Gaborik. As for the lie I found it to be pretty accurate on the Robitaille maybe a tad lower. I cut my stick rather short (about 155 cm) and get the whole blade worn evenly.

i have a dolomite 2 piece. there is no endplug, so it is compostie all the way to the end. The lie is not 4. on my federov blade it says 5 or 5.5. i have compared it to a RbK Modano curve, and the lie is a small bit lower, and the blade is thicker.

mines an int, 70 flex, so i cant talk about the 85 flex.
