Orwell is definately one of my favs as well. 1984 and Animal Farm are classics. I don't now if Shakespeare classifies as a book author seeing as how he wrote mostly play scripts but he's definately tops on my list for literary masterpieces.

George Bernard Shaw is one of my all time favorites. He wrote in may different formats, maybe more of a philosopher than author. I liked Some of Clancy's stuff, Anderson, Brown.

C.S. Lewis is awsome, RC sproul, wayne grudem breaks down systematic theology greatly and Robert Saucy is good, but thats because hes a prof at my school

I'm not much of a reader but I've always liked the classics by Jules Verne. And when I was younger (around 11-13) I liked the indian books by Edward S. Ellis.

It's kind of funny how I used to bitch and moan about having to read novels to do reports in high school but like some of you, books like The Outsiders and Lord of the Flies remain as some of my all time favorites.

Orwell is great, and Moore I hear is awesome. I'll probably read Stupid White Men and Dude Wheres My Country this summer. Another good author is Dan Brown. He wrote the DaVinci Code, which, as of now, is my favourite book. I'd like to read some of his other stuff, which from what I hear is similar to the DaVinci Code.
