Problem with Outlook

I'm relatively new to it, but I have my school email hooked up to it. It seems like 10% of my emails I try to send are rejected because the server "rejects the recipient". Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

It has rejected 3 email addresses in total. Two of which were @uoregon.edu, obviously the school email system. The other was from a random poker site.

I use t-bird. Nice but has memory leaking problems

No, but even with the leaks it takes up less than outlook most of the time. I just wish mozilla would get their calendar program working better and tweak t-bird some more. I do miss some of the outlook functionality.

Ugh, it just happened again with another email address. This time I got the error-

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'support@boogster.com'. Subject '', Account: 'pop.uoregon.edu', Server: 'smtp.uoregon.edu', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 <support@boogster.com>... Relaying denied. Proper authentication required.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

it sounds more like an email issue.. not an outlook issue. My email has a "whitelist". if you are not on the whitelist, you cannot email me. They may have some kind of filter on their side.

That seems to indicate that your mail server isn't forwarding the message out to their server. You are going to need to change a setting and it should be fine after that. I would contact the school IT/MIS department and see what they say.
