I'm a CCM Vector stick whore so I'll just blabber on about how amazing they are.

But in all serious, it is a good stick. I'm quite happy with mine and scored with it with my first slapshot (hadn't scored with a slapper in AGES!!). The flex is good (I'm using regular so around 95 Easton) and it's durability so far hasn't been disappointing. I'd go in store to check it out and see if it's really for you.

i've got a vector 8.0 ops too, and i really like the stick, specially the pattern (here in Finland they have 5,10 or 11 pattern on a 8.0 or 10.0 stick) i've got the 5 pattern (looks like Steen???)

I had the reg flex Ovechkin and i hated it. The shaft seemed to wear out on me and the heel dented some how...

I just got one about a week ago at the LHS. I believe I paid around 150.

I really like the stick. The Ovechkin curve is awesome and makes for really good wrist shots, and back hands. My slapshot always sucks but with the Vector I got some decent height out of it for once.

I would recommend it and will probably buy the 10.0 next time.

I have used mine for 5+ games now. Other than cosmetic, scraps etc., I have not had a single problem with it. I will probably buy another or upgrade to the 10.0 to try that out.

main difference is the blade. it's a normal comp foam core rather than all the other vector blades. pro: better feel. con: can't play roller or street with it.

10.0 is lighter, better feel and slightly better balance.
