It's a great stick. I've been playing with since it came out last spring. It has great feel, it's light, and very performing. I recommend it to anyone, the only bad thing, it's not really cheap.

In fact, I like the stick so much that I ordered half a dozen about two months ago. Durability isn't amazing, but it's decent, like most top end ops. Out of the 6 I bought two months ago, I have 4 left. Considering I break about 1 or 2 ops a month, I'd say durability is ok.

what stick can you compare it to performance/feel wise

For me it doesnt feel like any other stick that ive used. But if i would have to compare it I'd say it feels a little like an 05 stealth grip w/some changes here and there.

The performance is great. Its comparable to any high end stick really. And the puck feel is also good, imo better then my sl.

k thanks keep me updated if possible im gonna wait until my xxx lite breaks but i can tweak the blade and its breaking down so thanks again

I've heard bad things.  I've never used it but a few of my friends hated it.

No feel to it and it being too light.

Its as light as any other stick out there, and saying it has no feel can be translated as "I have bad hands" because the 10.0 has the best puck feel out of any OPS I've used. Unfortunately the mid is too soft so mine is on ebay at the moment.

Whats the lie on the Ovechkin Curve?

I think it's a 6. Most CCM curves are a 6.

I picked it up and thought it was a great stick. Fantastic balance, Ovechkin CUrve is nice, I like the grip on it too. Next season if there's a stick and skates deal I'm going for that! B)

I picked one up, I was amazed at how light it felt. I dont know what CCM did....but this stick felt good in my hands, which I guess doesnt say much. Id like to see how durable these sticks are though, I cant imagine it would be any worse than the SL's or XXX's....

sorry miss read I just know I had an XXX lite with just bauer on it and XXX lite by NBH and it seems that Bauer improved the durability on the XXX lite i wasnt talking about the regular XXX

Sorry to bring this topic up but i have an opportunity to give this stick a try...and know nothing about it.

What would be the closest pattern to the Heatley? I'm guessing Recchi but the lie seems a bit higher than a 5...maybe because it's quite a bit longer than the heatley?

And flex...in CCM flexes, what would be similar to a 100 flex stealth?

the recchi is an iginla curve. The heatley has more of a curve than the recchi.

Maybe the ovechkin curve is what you're looking for?

From what I know i thought Heatley was an Iginila clone. Ovechkin is pretty much a drury. And i thought the regular flex felt like an 05 stealth 100 flex.

Ovechkin is nothing what I'm looking for. It's like a drury with a lower lie.

As for the Heatley, it is similar to the Iginla, but has a 5 lie instead of the 5.5 which is what i'm worried about in the Recchi.

Having just spent the last few days sorting out the mysteries of lie... the Recchi seems to me to be in between a 5 lie (45 degrees) and a 5.5 lie (46 degrees).

I have no idea how CCM measured it and came up with a 6 lie on their website!
