I don't know where you can get the floating spacers for 8mm axles. I've always gotten them from my LHS. Maybe one of the online dealers.

I also got some from Suregrip, but they aren't aluminum, and 8 of them are Heavy!!

I'm going to make them myself pretty soon. I've started the process, but they probably won't be available for a couple of months at the earliest.

As for the colored frames and rockers, it's a do-it-yourself thing unless I do some special color setups for a most excellent wholesale deal that's in the works. They'll be available already mounted on a top quality, well respected ice boot. You'll also be able to buy them unmounted at the same source, most likely.

The white will always be available. Those can be dyed if you desire.

Here's the pics of the 170 and Vector 10 mountups that have been asked for. Took a while to find them in my messy files.

And a super shot of Kovy's super shot. In the net, top corner, of course!!!

What size are the Supreme 70s? IMO the frame looks a bit to small.

Im getting my 70s mounted on black and blue sprungs in the next 2 weeks when im in canada cant wait to try them.

Can you please post a review and pictures when you do? I am debating on the one-70 for my next boot to put the sprung on.

Both boots are size 10 and at the edge, sizewise. But the photos always distort a bit. They both have a little bit of wheel showing front and rear, and they both skate fantastically.

I can't say enough about these two well-designed, lightweight, stiff boots. They were comfortable right out of the box and have only gotten more so with use. Proof that stiff does not have to mean painful.

Is that kovalchuk71 in that picture there? I know he plays for Dreamsports, and he has converted Synergy's.

Yep, look at the caption above the pics

Nice pics. I just noticed that there are no boards. Is it just plexiglass or is there really nothing there?

I'm a big fan of the big rinks. One year when they converted the Cooler's ice rinks into roller rinks, it was pretty much the best tournament of my life.

I do remember for one 2Hot4Ice, we played on a rink in the Carolinas with the plexiglas instead of boards on one side.

One rink I played at had two feet high of plexiglass, then netting up to the sealing. Cheap bastards. The sportcourt was also green, with a yellow crease shaped like a pyramid. If I sat down, the whole "crease" was completely hidden. That's how small it was.

haha, we should have a "worst rink" thread...

The new rink is indoors,

Its close the NC boarder. It's more in Little River than Myrtle Beach though. It's off Hwy. 90 if you know where that is...

I play out door in the adult league Myrtle Beach Xtream... www.esportsdesk.com/mbx I know a few guys have gone up there to play and haven't came back ;-)

But I also heard from some of the guys that went to pick up there say that if you don't know anyone then you may not get passed to etc... the typical stuff. Talent wise is good though.

The drop ins moved to monday nights because the league has started on Thursdays.

However sportszone has a rule that the majority rules, so if more people show up to play Dodgeball or whatever then they get the court, or at least half of it.

At my home rink, we have sportcourt (just plain old smooth stuff) and then we went for games at Hot Shots, where they had ice court. In the beginning we couldn't get used to the fact that it's bumpier, but it grips your wheels more so you can stop faster, and the puck is *supposed* to go faster, hence the name ice court.

Ok heres my Update...

My sprungs are broken! Which really sucks as i LOVE these frames. Took a shot to the front sprung arm and it just snapped my front wheel clean off.

I managed to borrow some size 7 skates (im size 10!) to finish the 2nd period.

I did the damp towel thing to help durability and everything but still no luck.

Has anyone else had any problems with sprungs breaking?
