Well I care if they are lighter or not you pay for what you get,

you want it to feel like you have boots on or shoes on?

And I love the feel of t-blades you can turn so much sharper with them..

That may be the case but with the new holders you are defting the purpose of the the way the skate is made (one90) plus the pitch of the T-Blade is way diffrent from the lightspeed throwing off the way it functions!

As for the 1500 it you miss drill the skate there is no warranty on it!

In fact either skate you will be hard pressed to warranty on the boot with anoterh companies holders on there. Waist of money then!

It'll feel more like boots if they don't fit properly than if they're 50 grams or so heavier...

Well I won't be doing the putting on of the t-blades, my LHS will do that...

what do you mean the pitch and everything,

Why will it be throwing it off and such?

And if they miss drill then I will tell them to get me new skates

I really like my t-blades and would like to stick with them,

since they are much sharper and you can carve better and all,

they cant get you new skates the companies wont warranty the boot.

The skates are built witha certain height front and rear. T-blades are totally diffrent in heights between the front and rear!

There both good but you have to see what one is the tightest fit all around your foot. the one that fits your foot the best is the one to go with. The weight diffrence at this weight really wont be noticed.

If you have a chance try Superfeet in the either skate to see if you feel better with more arch support.

Also if you have a wider foot and one that is think you might like the Bauer better. If you are a flatter foot then you might like the 1500.

They are an arch support that hel keeps your arch lifted to get maximum force of your lrg driven down to the ice. Check ut there website. WWW.superfeet.com

I used Superfeet in my Grafs and love them. I didn't care to much for the Graf insoles.

I'd say go with what ever fits better. This guy I knoe who runs his own hockey store (Reid's Sporting Goods) knows what he is talking about. Pros come to his store. His exact words were '' It's better to have a cheap skate that fits, than an expensive skate that doesn't.''

I was in the same situation about 2 weeks ago. One90 and 1500c both fit well, but the 1500c seemed to fit just a little bit better as I have a more narrow heel - plus I like a stiffer skate. I also think that the one90 may run into some new product issues, so trying them next year or the year after will work for me.

Well either way both of the skates fit really well on my foot...

thats impossible theyre differently made skates.

And tblades are a waste, get a good sharpener and you can have the same effects

Yes they are his skates and he should be happy but if he lowers the performance of either by putting on something that doesnt work with the boot then why bother?

Unless you have some one that can put in lifts where needed to get the same pitch as the factory then its pointless to switch them.

Also again you run into the problem of warranty if you have an issue on either you or the shop redrilling!

Now not that I dont do a ton of modifications but why mess with something unless you really have someone that knows what they are doing.

On Friday we worked with a kid buying a new pair of Eastons that had one leg longer then the other and pronated badly. When he left he was straight and leg length issue sorted with a whole skate lift.

The skates were an Easton 500 at 199.99 CDN and he plays AA going up and down to AAA but it fit the foot the best. It doesnt have to be a 800 skate as long as it fits and does the job it is intended to. Unless of course you arent going anywhere with hockey and just want to look good on the ice and dont care about the performance built into an 800 skate?
