Pretty sad, I've always thought that he was a good president. Pretty impressive how well liked he was, he left office as the president with the highest approval rating.

I was kinda surprised when I found out he died. Early on the radio they were talking about him and the said he had a few weeks maybe even months.

It was Jimmy Carter... one of our "not so good" presidents to say the least. Regan was one of our best... he had one thing not many beuarcrats have today... intestinal fortitude

Say what you want about Carter (I agree that he didn't do shit as president) but he is handsdown the best ex-president.

Um.. must be Canadian-American history. Reagan's presidency pulled our country out of a DEEP recession from Carter's days, he did one thing economists predicted was impossible, turn the economy around during a time of double-digit inflation.
