reconsider your future in hockey also...after thinking 2 second, you will found that the synergy 1200 could just do the job as for pant you could buy the closeout price etc.. and save money. so you could paypal me some of your saved money..;)

I can also be wrong, but i think you are the kind of show-off guys who just buy the high-end stuff to look cool. Now i agree, you will certainly look cool with your skate with carbon t'blades, maybe you should think about the VAPOR XX OPS..it would look very nice with your carbon skate!

Just read your post, you want Mia glove, Please go with custom. so you could get them all black carbon. think about it, black carbon synergy skate with carbon holder, carbon OPS,carbon glove, f*&k your bag and buy a carbon-weave helmet, maybe the 8K is your best bet! <_<

I wouldn't buy the 1500's. I'd preorder some Kor Shift 2's for better tech on the fit (major selling points on both), or just get some One90's since all your other gear is bling.

Additionally, 3 composites in one purchase is foolish. Keep one backup to use temporarily and keep one composite at a time. You'll just let your warranties lapse on the other 2 and be SOL when you get around to breaking them.

Bottom line, though: trial and error and personal preference reign supreme. Weigh that with some research and second opinions. Also don't buy because its the most expensive product... price is not a criterion of quality all the time.

I assume you've given similar gear or the same a try already...

Acually it is my rents that are buying it...

But don't think I don't work for my gear and get it handed to me...

I will get some pics up of it when I get back from hockey on Sunday...

Pah, thats all shoddy shoddy gear, check out MY gear.

1 - pair of CCM tacks 852, 2004 model ($179 at my LHS)

3 - Koho Jagr wood sticks - $20 each

1 - Bauer truflex Gagne curve - $30 (thanks to the sell section right here!!)

1 - Bauer 4500 helmet - $69 at LHS

1 - Itech 8000 pants - $59 on hockey giant (LHS didn't have XXLs)

1 - CCM Vector 4 gloves - $50 at LHS (still a great deal, am loving the gloves)

Total = $447, spread out, got the skates last year, gloves in april (I think), sticks at various intervals, pants last month, helmet in May.

YEAY ME!!!

I treat my sticks very well like last year i used a SL grip the entire season and didn't break on me...

Thats a very good point...If you just use the one, by the time you get to the others it will most likely be past their warrantys, and when you break them you are screwed and can't get any warranty... I'd just get one and if it breaks and is still under warranty get the replacement, but if it doesnt break during the warranty period go and get another one if you have to...

He might pick a hockey stick bag and which he could fill 3 vapor XXX lites in it!!LOL

As for the t'blades, I'm not sure if it was him but he said like 1 month ago, he couldn't found them anywhere etc etc.. Now he want them mounted loll

Pants: well this is where you can see he all BS us by picking up all the high-end product that doesnt even exist!!! And he wish he could get Mia, to have his name on his glove...pathetic.

Very good choice of gear except for the pants. You can get soooo much better. Go back at your LHS and go try on the new Camo RBK 48K pants. They are second last right before the one90 pants, but higher so no one can try them one unless a store rep or the owner is around to watch you as you try them on. What's so great about them is that the inserts are made of bullet proof material. Try them on, I garantee you'll love them. I have 4 pairs myself. One per week so they stay nice and smell fresh everytime I wear them ;-)

Sure do cobrAA. The LHS owner is the father of my friends cousin's grandmother's daughter's mother in law's son and he keeps me updated on all the new gear that's coming out. Better watch out for the new Nike Quest 78 skates that are coming out next month.. heard they are torpedo propelled skates so you can really burn the deffender while coming in on your off wing..(pun intended)
