holy crap what a rip off

$20?!?

Canucks Intrasquad was like $5 and thats a lower bowl seat

You think $20 is a ripoff, a Rangers pre-season game at MSG is $30 just for a seat all the way at the top, while near the glass is $165. I wouldnt even pay that for a playoff game.

I'm going to it, the Marlies ticket is a nice added bonus.

This thing was free a few years ago :(

yes, the Marlies ticket is a nice added bonus. My only question is can you redeem it for any game ? I can't see it being a problem seeing that all the games I have been to were only half full (including playoffs).

I think the tickets were $10 and $15 last year so there is another jump in price (albeit a free Marlies ticket is included).

The one good thing about charging money for tickets is:

1) the money is going to charity

2) it helps controls crowds (it could get ugly with people fitting for seats if the game is free). I remember there was a small riot and glass doors being broken down during a free Toronto basketball preseason game about 8 years ago. Not a good thing with about 20000 - 30000 people.

For the eagles nest to be $5 you have to buy at least 4 tickets, otherwise they are $10, its the top two rows right around MCI center, but the sightlines are good.

I had my season tickets in 413, about half way up, and had a great view.

I only get to about 20 games a year now, and try to get a few in the lower levels, but the MCI has great sightlines from anywhere in the arena.

I just got my schedule for Sept and I'm thinking about the Coyotes/Kings game in Vegas followed by the Caps/Devils the next day back home.

As a Rangers fan I imagine the wounds that must re-open.

You mean the defending playoff making new york rangers?

Yes, that one year they've made the Playoffs. Congratulations, they've moved up to mediocrity with the majority of the league. Difference being that most teams show up after making the Playoffs, rather than thinking that was it.

I'd love to defend the Rangers right now, but unfortunately, they have no excuse.

except that Lundqvist and Jagr were hurt.

In other words, their whole team was hurt.

But still, no excuse.
